Acupuncture for pets can be used in conjunction with conventional Western medicine to treat a wide variety of pet issues such as arthritis pain, hip dysplasia, vestibular disease, disc disease, poor appetite, constipation, itchy skin issues and much more.
We are pleased to be the only veterinarian in the Sauk Prairie area to offer this exciting alternative. Our Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, Dr. Erica Schorr-Evans DVM, a 1994 graduate of veterinary medicine from the University of Madison, will assist you in determining whether your pet will benefit from acupuncture and establish a treatment protocol to ease your pet’s symptoms and improve their overall health and well being.
Veterinary medicine combined all of Dr. Schorr-Evans’ interests (science, nature, surgery, medicine and helping people) and made it the optimal career choice. Her particular professional interests lie in dermatology, endocrinology, dentistry and veterinary acupuncture. She is a member of the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
Call us today with any questions or to make an appointment for your acupuncture consultation. Your pet will thank you!
