Hospital Administrators
Hospital administrator and co-owner Jodi has worked in the animal care field since 1994. Jodi attended Illinois State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications in 1984. Jodi likes the variety and excitement of working in the hospital and enjoys meeting and helping clients and their pets.
Jodi's hobbies include gardening, reading, hiking, camping, scuba diving and golf. She shares her home with her husband and two daughters; two Jack Russell Terriers, Stella and Ladybug; and two cats, Julia and Gabby.
Inventory Manager Karen says that while this is her first experience within the animal care field, she is excited to use her well hewn business skills to help us better care for our clients’ pets. "I’ve always loved animals," she says. "Working here at Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital gives me the chance to use what I’ve learned in 20 years of manufacturing accounting in a totally new environment. What could be better than spending the work day around animals?"
A native of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Karen joined the Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital staff in December of 2010. Her animal family includes two cats named Gus and MJ as well as a Chocolate Lab named Puck that Karen says loves being in the Sauk County 4-H Dog Project with her daughter. Karen’s interests include spending time with her three kids, Hillary, Erin and Evan, as well as attending horse shows and enjoying the area's many beautiful spots.
