Receptionists
A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Office Manager Rita joined the Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital staff in 2005. Rita loves working with the clients and their pets and is proud of the excellent veterinary care offered at the Hospital.
At home, she cares for two dogs, Jasper and Pudge, and several cats.
Receptionist Susan has been a part of the Sauk-Prairie Small Animal Hospital Staff since 2004. A native of Portage, WI, Susan attended the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo, where she majored in Psychology. Susan enjoys working with the hospital's caring staff and loves interacting with clients and their pets.
Susan's hobbies include tennis, traveling, reading, cooking, watching movies and caring for her dog, Ledger.
Client Services Specialist Jennifer has been with Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital since November of 2009, but began her career in the pet care field in 2003. A graduate of Brainerd High School, Jennifer earned a Pet Care Technician certification from the Pet Care Services Association and earned certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Central Lakes College.
Asked what she likes most about working at Sauk Prairie, Jennifer says, "I appreciate the fact that we are American Animal Hospital Association accredited, we treat the pets that come in here like they are our own, we are one big family, and that we have digital X-ray, ultrasound and many other wonderful technological and diagnostic devices."
Jennifer has a mixed breed dog named Autumn that she enjoys taking to our local agility club. Her hobbies include watching movies, spending time with her dog, agility club, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
